FACILITATOR
THE REQUIREMENT TO BE A FACILITATOR
What a facilitator does is plan, guide and manage a group event to ensure that the group’s objectives are met effectively, with clear thinking, and good participation. The key responsibility as a facilitator is to create this group process and an environment in which it can flourish, and so help the group reach a successful decision, solution or conclusion. The requirements to be the facilitators in Science Fair for Young Children are as below :
Age: Above 18 years old (if below 18 years, required approval letter from parents).
Field of Study: Any field is applicable.
Must be a responsible candidate with good attitude and good communication skills
Must be able to communicate politely and humbly with teachers and children.
JUDGE
THE REQUIREMENT TO BE A JUDGE
Judging Panel is a group of qualified individuals who are responsible for evaluation of student research experiments and exhibits for compliance with the Rules and Regulations. The Judging Panel will assist the Science Fair Organizing Committee in reviewing and judging the experiments or projects. The requirements to be the judge in Science Fair for Young Children are as below:
Must possess degree in Science related fields
Must be able to understand Tamil language
Must be able to communicate in Tamil language (Optional)
Must be able to conduct the training in interactive manner
Must be able to establish rapport with the teachers
TRAINER
THE REQUIREMENT TO BE A TRAINER
A group of trainers will be assign to conduct training for teachers on School Level Science Fair and State Level Science Fair implementation processes. The requirements to be the trainer in Science Fair for Young Children are as below:
Must possess degree in any field
Must possess good communication skills
Must be able to understand and communicate well in Tamil language
Must be able to conduct the training in interactive manner
Must be able to establish rapport with the teachers
